Booking American with BA avios
I have been trying to book a US domestic flight with AA using my BA AVios. I am trying in BA site and no success. Always get no flights available for these dates regardless of what date I try. I have also tried BA call center here in the US but it is a long wait. Can anyone help me ?
I am having the same issue!
Assuming you have verified that there is saver space on American’s website as well as AS’s website as a backup, Since you’re having trouble with the US call center, try using Google Hangouts/Voice to call a foreign BA office – that might help. Google’s rates for intl calls is pretty low.

I will try this. Thanks David.
Also, are you looking at a flight with connections? Sometimes BA’s site has issues piecing routes together when they don’t transit London. So if you find sAAver space on all the legs on the AA site, try putting it together as a multi-leg trip on BA’s site. The price should be the same. If that won’t work you’ll need to call in but hopefully they’ll waive any call-in fees.

I am looking for two tickets on a houston – las vegas vegas flight. Since it’s AA i know there is going to be a connection. I will try multi-leg trip on BA’s site ( iah – dallas – las vegas). On AA site I was amazed since they were charging as much as 30 K for each leg on weekend flights.

That doesn’t sound like Saver award space then. Do you see the same flights available if you look at alaskaair.com?
