Wanted to provide a heads up to something I just happened to catch. I booked 2 nights at the Kimpton Evinti in New York. I used my IHG Card to book the room, thinking I would get 5x points. I checked the other day and realized I had only been given 1x! So, I contacted Chase…

Club Credit Card account and I am glad to assist you with
your inquiry about the points earned on a charge on your
account.

Please be assured that you earn five points for $1.00
spent on purchases made at InterContinental Hotels Group
properties which includes Kimpton Hotels. However, as the
charge of $XXX.XX from Kimpton Eventi Hotel was not
catergorized as an IHG property the points were not added
automatically.

We added the X,XXX points to your account. Please
know that the points added were calculated by 4 points as
you have already earned the 1 base points for this charge.

So, for people using the IHG card on the newly merged Kimpton properties – make sure you are getting the full bonus earn!
