Bext CX Business Class Lounge HKG

Bext CX Business Class Lounge HKG

We had a flight cancellation so now we have a longer layover in HKG than previously planned.

We’re flying in Nov HAK-HKG-SFO on CX Business Class (U) award tix booked via AA.

Our layover in HKG is now 7 hours. What is the best lounge to visit, preferably with a shower?

Also, will we have a lounge to hang out in before our departure from HAK?

    Thanks for the help,

    Joan

Joan–have you taken a look at the Trip Report section (at the top of the page below the main banner)? I think Ben has reviews of all the CX J lounges in HKG so you can check them out yourself!

If youre flying CX J from HAK-HKG, there is probably a contract lounge at HAK. I wouldnt expect much though.

The blog mostly has first class lounge reviews, so I certainly don’t blame you for your question. Feel free to visit mine (#noshameselfpromo), since I’ve reviewed every single one.

As for your question, go for The Pier, hands down. It opened this year and features loads of different amenities. No, it’s not as good as the First Class lounge, but it’s one of my favourite business class lounges in the entire world. If you want to you can lounge hop to some other lounges e.g. The Bridge or The Qantas Lounge which Lucky’s also reviewed (it’s a close second, and the food there is arguably superior to The Pier, so you might wanna eat there), though with The Pier’s relaxation area, I’d go for The Pier for as much relax time as possible.

As for the First Class Lounge at Haikou (yes, Dragonair business class passengers have access), it’s obnoxiously gold, but reasonably comfortable.
