Best way to book nonstop business from SFO to AMS

Best way to book nonstop business from SFO to AMS

  1. Mike Miller New Member

    Hi Lucky

I’m not finding a good way to book a flight for a trip next year. At the moment I have 250000 Ultimate Reward Points. I will have more by the time I book this. I want to fly business nonstop round trip from SFO to AMS next September 2019, leaving 9/17 and returning 10/1. United, KLM have nonstops. Neither has saver award availability so at least at the moment, it would require 310000 miles on United or 412000 on KLM. Will saver awards become available and when is the best time to look? Thanks,
    Mike

@Mike Miller – welcome. Just because there’s no saver award space now doesn’t mean it won’t open up later. If your dates are firm you could set an alert with Expert Flyer (I think you get 5 free?). You might also reach out to OMAAT contributor Spencer on Twitter (@spencerformiles) and sign up for his email alerts on his blog. It’s a little nerve-wracking to have to keep checking for award space but you’ve got a LOT of time for something to open up. If you can be at all flexible with your dates, be sure to search those extra dates as well.
