Best FF program and card suggestion

    Hey Lucky ,

I’m a huge follower of your website and I will soon be doing a lot of travelling as I embark on my higher studies .

I will be travelling from India to the US for my Masters post which I mostly will take up a travel intensive role in the US.

I have narrowed down to Qatar,Emirates and Etihad . Which program do you recommend and which one is easy to earn and redeem points to be upgraded to Business/First Class?

I’m also looking for an FF program that would help me redeem flights on domestic American carriers and vice versa .
Any credit card suggestions would be appreciated as well.

    Thanks ,

Qatar because of alliance in Oneworld. American flights domestically. Citi AA card to earn AA points. Even credit your QR flights to AA to earn more points. The ME frequent flyer programs are extremely expensive in terms of redemptions. Far better off with AA IMO.

I don’t know the policies of any of the ME airlines for upgrades and how often they actual do upgrade you. But in terms of earning points and flying domestically Qatar is your best option.
