Anonymous GuestI just learned about your side and block and quite excited to be able to have this kind of help and community on hand now.
My wife and I travel quite a lot from the US. Several times a year to Germany and also at least ones to Asia. We also travel a couple times a year in the Central American area and also the Caribbean’s. As we are starting 50/50 retirement end of this year and going 100% end of next year which means we will travel even more. I am wondering what in your opinion the best credit cards and reward programs we should go after? We have already the Barclays Arrival, Capital Venture Card. I am going to get the Amex Platinum (mainly for the perks). We are mainly looking for upgrades, shorter trips, but don‘t mind any other perks.

I’d start with the “Start Here” up top and get into Chase and Amex cards earning Chase UR and Amex MR points
