Best card for gas and dining?

Best card for gas and dining?

  1. Anirudh Rallabhandi New Member

    Hello everyone,

Would like to gather your opinions on which credit card I should get. Most of my purchases are fuel and dining. Which would be the best card?

Would like to redeem points for travel.

Current options are “Thank you premier” “Chase Shappire”

    Thanks!

Well one card that have bonuses for both of those are the Citi ThankYou Premier Card

    3X for Gas, 2 X for Dining.

How much do you spend on gas a year, think there might a limit of 5K or 6K on the Premier card?

Another would be the Amex Premier Rewards Gold also found on the link above.
2X points for US restaurants and US gas stations.

What you chose depends on what you plan to do with the miles, or should I say where you wish to travel since that will determine what type of air miles you will need.

Which again will lead to question of which flexible points currency can you transfer to your award program of choice?

@No Name–I don’t think there is any limit on the bonus categories of the Citi Premier which would be great if the partners work for @Anirudh Rallabhandi.
