Best Business Class to Honolulu from Sweden(ARN)
Hi,
At the moment i am leaning towards doing SAS with a United connection at LAX for the trip but it has a 9:15 hour layover at LAX on the way back. Is the Lounge at LAX good enough for such a long layover?
If not do you guys have any other options on getting to Hawaii and back with not a lot of connections and with a good business class product.
Thanks in advance.
Hello Andrew.
Have you tried routing through CPH on SK on the way back? When I did a search on Google flights on random day HNL-SFO-CPH-ARN came up.

If that is the halt on the way back, then I would say yes if you don’t mind the halt. I’ve taken 14-16 hour halts at airports just to get a better flight itinerary at a cheaper price, plus I love airports. Anyways, on the way back, you would have to transfer from terminal 7, United terminal, to Tom Bradley International Terminal. If you are flying SAS business class, then you have access to the Star Alliance business class lounge in Tom Bradley International Terminal which is fantastic. Lots of food, good seating, a bar, showers, and a lovely outdoor deck to view planes and relax if you’d like. Apart from the lounge itself, the terminal is overall great and there’s lots of places to eat over the 9-hour span apart from the star alliance lounge, lots of places to walk, and best of all spotting all the afternoon A380s at LAX. Of course this is all assuming you are into that sort of thing. But 9 hours is completely doable. I think there is plenty to do and you should have an enjoyable time in Tom Bradley International Terminal. Let me know if you have any other questions 🙂
