BA upgrade strategy

BA upgrade strategy

  1. vyceles New Member

I am planning my first European trip this June and need at least one ticket business class due to disability. Going from Houston to Barcelona flight, then London to Houston return flight. I was planning on buying an economy plus ticket, transferring points to BA club from AE membership rewards (70k) but not sure if that is viable. Any advise would be great!

Upgrading using Avios is a great strategy!

This post is over a year old, but the information is still accurate

Houston to London should be Zone 6.

Also, make sure there is space available before you transfer your Amex points
