I have around 60K British Airways points. How can I use it to avoid British high taxes? US (New York)-Europe routes…Or any idea for best usage. Thanks.
No way to avoid it totally, but you could transfer to Iberia Avios which have lower taxes and surcharges.
How to by Tiffany.
You can also use them on Aer Lingus. I believe you’d have to stop in DUB but that short first segment means very low taxes/fees.
