Avianca versus Copa?

Avianca versus Copa?

We have to fly from Montevideo to Florida on Thanksgiving Eve to get back for the holiday, and wondered which airline increases our chances of arriving on time, and which one has a more comfortable business class, since it’s a long flight. The AA non-stop doesn’t fly on Wednesdays right now.

    Hi Andrea,

Looking at flights on those dates, I’d pick Avianca. The flights on Copa have two options, and both have connections around 1 hour and are on 737s with regular recliner seats. Avianca is a 2.5 hour connection and one flight is on an A330 – which at least gives you a lot more space to stretch out and relax.

Thank you very much — I hadn’t realized that — yes that’s a big difference. I think it means being at the airport at 3 am, but at least not crowded then!!
