ATL-CAI using UA booking in business

ATL-CAI using UA booking in business

  1. Anonymous Guest

I am looking to make a visit to Cairo and Amman later this year and hoping to use AA miles in biz. But crappy availability and routing to LHR with BA makes that unattractive. It looks like there is decent availability to Cairo in October via UA website, but alas I have 0 UA miles. Sp I’d need to transfer UR points.

Question: There are two options apparently. First is Turkish non-stop to IST in J, the coach to Cairo on Egyptair. Second is Lufthansa all the way with a transfer in Frankfort. Ben raves about business on Turkish, but Egyptair is less attractive. Which is the better option?

I’d go with Turkish and EgyptAir. Turkish J is better than LH J.

Also, FRA-CAI seems to be operated by a narrowbody aircraft. Intra-Europe biz is crap anyway so going with Turkish and EgyptAir means a shorter flight in intra-Euro biz.
