Asiana or ANA?
Hi Lucky.
Love your articles.
Looking at India trip next year using Aeroplan miles. Living in ATL, best route is with Turkish via IST. I love TK, but also looking at Asiana (A380) or ANA (777) in F class going the other way ’round for a bit of exotica – then using TK on the return with more direct routing. Which of those 2 would you pick?
Keep up the great work!
Thanks and regards,

ATL
ANA, period for me.

vs
Asiana in Business (Had first but I downgraded myself to business and I’m glad I didn’t waste the points.)

He’s also reviewing ANA again since flew them recently. That report is probably going to begin soon.
Another issue that might be of interest is the 9 or 10 hour connecting flight from NRT/ICN-DEL. ANA flies a 787 on this route that is soon to be upgraded from a regionally-configured plane which Ben reviewed back in 2013 to an internationally configured one which he recently flew (here is the teaser review) Asiana on the other hand, flies an a330 with last-generation angled-flat seats. Asiana is better much at releasing award seats but, ANA has a more consistent product.
