AS not seeing space on CX

AS not seeing space on CX

I’ve recently run into an issue where AS is not seeing space on CX flights. I was looking to fly business TPE-HKG on 30 May, with a two day stop over in HK, before continuing on to the US. Both the BA and JL sites show plenty of J space (as in, 2-4 seats) on 12+ flights on the TPE-HKG leg for 30 May, but three agents couldn’t see anything open. Is it just me, or something else? Have booked plenty of these as recently as a month ago and didn’t have this issue.

It’s a weird problem on AS’s end; youre not alone. http://onemileatatime.boardingarea.com/2016/09/11/alaska-cathay-awards/

Ah thanks, missed that post. Though interestingly the agents aren’t able to see any space even with four seats, versus being able to see all but one (or only seeing one seat), as Tiffany described. Hopefully it hasn’t gotten worse!
