    Hi all,

I recently got the Chase Sapphire Preferred card…………like a week ago and I would like to supplement my earning power with the freedom card. my credit is excellent and I was wondering if there are any issues with applying for this card so soon after the Chase Sapphire. I applies for Sapphire probably 2 weeks-ish ago

How many other cards have you opened recently and how many credit inquiries do you have within the last 2 years? How many total Chase cards do you have open now? All of these things can impact whether or not you should apply. Even if the CSP is the only card you have, I’d wait at least 30 days after applying for it before you apply for the Freedom.

1 chase card, minimal inquiries, a couple cards opened in the last 2 years

I was approved for Sapphire on 11/30 so I could wait until the end of the month
