ANA First Class: 110k United Miles. Worth it?
What are your thoughts on whether ANA First Class is worth 110k United Miles? Is there another “better” way to get such an award with a different mileage currency, and if so, how much would it cost to do so? (I have 135k miles in MileagePlus, but would be willing to explore accuring other types of miles if it can be done relatively quickly)
@wilve, it’s hard to answer questions like this because everyone has their own factors that they weigh differently. You really need to look at a few trip reports and see if it is worth it to you. From all the reports I’ve seen it seems to be a good product.

yes, I recommend you read Ben’s Trip Report: http://onemileatatime.boardingarea.com/2013/08/25/review-ana-first-class-chicago-to-tokyo-narita/
It is a great product and is worth the points if you are looking for an excellent experience. We enjoyed is so much that we used United Miles to book round-trip IAH-NRT tickets this fall. It is all in how you value your miles and what you want out of a trip.
If you are trying to stretch your miles look at business on ANA. Great hard & soft product and you could purchase the additional 5k United miles and fly biz round trip (not sure what your second leg looks like).
Flew ANA F yesterday. I’d put it as one of my favorite F products all around. Service, food, ground service in NRT.
ANA availability tends to be similar for most Star Alliance, so you have a few options.
