I read the article in Alex bonus miles transfer to virgin airmiles, I had two queries.
Is this transfer bonus available in the UK?
Can I transfer to my wife’s Virgin account or only my own?

This particular bonus is only open to the US Membership Rewards program, but the UK often has bonuses as well. Make sure you’re registered to receive emails from Amex so you don’t miss them.
If your wife is an authorized user on your card you should be able to transfer points to her account as well.
