Hi Lucky (and all points hounds),

I met you at FTU last year. I’m trying to get the 100K bonus for Amex Biz Plat, but I’ve already had the card. I have personal plat and the benefits are lousy in comparison. I’ve tried calling AMEX 3 times to see if I can get the bonus with no success, still told that since I’ve had the card in the past I won’t receive bonus. Anyone know a loophole around this?

I’m shut out of Chase Reserve because of 5/24, otherwise I’d go with that instead or in addition.

Nope, Amex bonuses are currently once per lifetime, unfortunately.

If you had a new business, that new business [I]might[/I] be eligible for the bonus, but I’ve never tried it, and can’t confirm. Maybe someone else can?

There are data points out there of AmEx awarding for a new business but I wouldn’t guarantee it.
