Amex Cashback Offers on Hotel Stays

Amex Cashback Offers on Hotel Stays

  1. Greg A. New Member

hi – does anyone have experience with the various targeted Amex offers based on Hilton/SPG/Marriott/Kimpton spend? Specifically, do you have to hit the $300/$250 etc hurdle in a single card transaction, or can you qualify by hitting the spend over say two transactions? A lot of the offers are difficult to hit should you primarily have single night stays. thanks!!! Greg

I haven’t tried the most recent one, but historically they are almost always based on cumulative spend for the duration of the offer period.

The most recent (and current) offer I received from Amex was the UK $500 spend (to get $100 back, I think?) and the terms clearly stated it was cumulative.
