American Airlines EQD/EQM questions

American Airlines EQD/EQM questions

  1. zest_life New Member

I have already booked several flights for the next few weeks. I don’t recall how many EQD/EQM each of them gave me? Is there a way for me to track how many EQD/EQM I will earn for each of the flights I have booked? This is 1 week post booking and about 2 weeks before travel. I cannot find information in my ticket or I’m looking in the wrong place. Help needed, and clearly newbie based on my question!

Did you book directly on American’s website and get a ticket confirmation? If you did, look on there to find base fare plus carrier imposed surcharges. The total of that is multiple by the EQD multiplier (5-11x) to get your EQD earnings per ticket. Maximum EQDs earned per ticket is 75.

EQMs are based on actual flight distance multiplied by the EQM multiplier (0.5-3x) depending on fare class.

The above applies to all American Airlines issued tickets.
