I had booked 4 tickets from LHR to BOS last December. They canceled the flight from LHR to Bos. yesterday and I applied for the cash refund. Can you tell me why I only got a small portion of money. Shouldn’t I have got half the fare that I paid? it was no where near half the fare. 1 ticket cost $515.00 round trip. So should be $257.00 or so for half the ticket. They gave me $176.00. This was true for all 4 tickets. I am waiting to see if the other half of the flight back to LHR ON Spt, 22 2020 is also canceled. I checked on that flight flight and there are only 20 seats that have been booked so far. Before I go complaining to AA I thought I would ask you as you seem very knowledgable on this subject..
