maureen Hyde New MemberHas anyone tried to use the AA Advantage World Elite Card Trip Delay coverage through Virginia Surety Company? After sending them over 24 pages of documentation, they continue to send me form letters saying they are unable to process my claim. When I talk to people at Virginia Surety and City Card Benefits, I am told the claim will be processed and then I receive another form letter.
I am beginning to believe that they have been slammed with trip delay claims and are trying to wear us down. Another problem is Virginia Surety says they will only pay for “Hotel OR Meals” while the benefits page of the credit card says “Hotel and Meals.” I will not give up but I know people that would and just say their time is worth more than the aggravation. Thank You
