Allowing passengers on after doors clos

Allowing passengers on after doors clos

im on a plane to Costa Rica. We pushed back and as we did a mechnical issue arose the pilot said. We went back to the gate to be checked. No one was allowed off or out of their seats. While we waited 30 min towards the end three passengers got on the plane. Is that legal? How many times are you told once e door closes no one else can board. And did we really go back for a mechnical issue or did we go back for the passengers? Thoughts?

Usually when the plane is at the gate the doors are open so I’m guessing people boarded at this time? Second, while it may or may not be against the airline’s internal policy, there is no law against it which would be the only thing that would make it illegal. Third, who can tell why they really went back… definitely not anonymous commentators on an internet forum 🙂
