Anonymous GuestI am hoping to use either Delta or Virgin Australia miles to redeem an Alitalia business class seat from Rome to Asia/America. I couldn’t find any availability for dates months in advanced. Is their availability generally poor or is there a pattern as to when seats are released?

That’s a pretty broad question, but you’re right, it does look unusually poor. Generally we were seeing 2-3 seats released on at least three days a week. I’m not sure what to make of this, honestly, but it might be related to the big changes Alitalia was having with their program the other week.
