Alaska Stopover: CX JFK-YVR-HKG

Alaska Stopover: CX JFK-YVR-HKG

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hi Ben,

When redeeming mileageplan miles, how long of a stopover be? Also, for CX889/888, does stopping over in Vancouver and then continuing to HK in a few days/weeks count as one redemption or will alaska count that as two? Like will I be charged based on US to Asia or US to Canada and Canada to Asia in terms of miles?

    Thanks

Hi Bob! There’s no limit to the length of the stopover, you just have to complete all travel within a year of the ticket being issued.

That would count as one redemption, and you should pay the US to Asia price. Have fun!
