Al Safwa Lounge

    Hi!

We are traveling through Doha and are thinking about how to enter Al Safwa Lounge.

If i understand it is possible to enter it if you have first class tickets. I understand that. But what if you are able to book only qsuits from where we are traveling from?
Any suggestions how to do Al Safwa Lounge?
    Regards

You need to be arriving or departing QR First Class in order to get complimentary access.

However, a couple of months ago, people reported being offered access for a fee, which Lucky finds to be a great deal.

For around $82.00 you can gain access to the lounge directly from the website. Simply navigatge to “manage” your reservation and click on the Lounge Access Icon. I am leaving next week to Delhi and took advantage of the offer.

Does anyone know if there are other showers to use in addition to the Spa? I understand you have to pay to shower in the spa but I am unclear if there are other showers in the lounge.

There’s showers in the private nap rooms, and that’s free. Anything in the spa will cost money, even just a shower.

We were there just a few weeks ago on Qsuites and we went to the Al Mourjan desk to enquire about Al Safwa. They confirmed it was no issue and we made our way over. it was 250 Riyals pp.

While they mention you only have 6 hours we stayed for close to 8. We could not get a private room but there is plenty of lounge seating. We enjoyed the media room for a good while since no one seemed interested.

The front desk person should be able to direct you to where the shower is. I found a shower near the family room area (near the game room/kids area). However, no one was there. It was perfectly clean and prepped so I just used it…

For the eight hour layover, it was great and worth it, even if we did not get the day room. Al Mourjan looked packed.
