Airline Spend When Booking Directly Through Google Flights

Airline Spend When Booking Directly Through Google Flights

  1. BKT New Member

Question for the masses: Does it count as “airline” spend when booking a flight directly with Google Flights? I’m looking at booking a rather complex VX itinerary directly through Google Flights as opposed to shelling out another 20 bucks to book over the phone with VX. Trying to decide which card to use (Sapphire Reserve or Freedom Unlimited).

    Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

hi @BKT, Google usually offers the option to transfer you over to the airline to complete booking. Is this not showing for your trip? Not sure how Google codes things. You’d think it’d be airfare but Google doesn’t code it’s cell phone service as such either.
