Airline refuses to give money back for refundable ticket
We bought refundable tickets through a travel agent for a flight in Royal Air Maroc. The flight has been canceled and the airline is not flying.
We contacted the travel agent who told us that the airline is not responding.
We wrote multiple letters to the airline and they are insisting that they will not give us a refund back. They will give us a voucher to be used within 12 months. They said this is in accordance with Regulation 261/2004. What recourse do I have? thank you!
You could dispute the charge with your credit card company. Unfortunately, the EU has taken the side of the airlines recently, which is crazy but out of our individual control.
