Air France

Air France

good morning Lucky – I enjoyed and valued your recent review of the ground experience and your review of the older first class product on Air France. But would love to see a review of the new Air France first class. I have tried the old product quite a few times and have not seen many reviews of the new offering.

    Thank you

Pat, the problem is that AF only allows their elite members to redeem miles for first class. So unless someone is an elite or is willing to shell out the money to pay for first, most of us will never experience it.

I think SFO777 on flyertalk credited a few flights to FlyingBlue to become an elite member to redeem for AF F.

But in the end SFO777 ended up just buying the AF F ticket since the award tickets are only available on the flex level at around 200K miles one way US-EU. Think he might have booked something on miles for later this year.

Whoops, I missed his comment about buying the F ticket instead. Good catch! Looks like he still has the US-CDG half of the ticket for later this year. I find his trip report commentary kind of meh but I’m glad its more picture heavy than anything.

He seems to have 3 segments on AF F booked for this year.
