    Hi guys,
    I remember Lucky had an article last year that said these are angled flat seats–is that still the case? Any one flown it recently? I went to seat guru and couldn’t tell. Seems very suboptimal for such a long flight…

    Seat Guru says the A380 has 80 angle-flat seats. I don’t recall reading anything about AF upgrading those to lie-flat. I agree it’s sub-optimal and can’t imagine why on earth they’d be doing this but I guess it’s all about the $$$ (or €€€).

    Yes they are. Avoid the A380.

    You want to be on the 777, which has the updated reverse herringbone seats.

    that is correct. the A380s won’t be refurbished until around 2020 the earliest.
