Air Canada Signature Suite vs Virgin Atlantic LHR Lounge

Air Canada Signature Suite vs Virgin Atlantic LHR Lounge

Looking to take advantage of the recent $2600 roundtrip (or $1600 with one leg in Economy) flights form SFO to London. I was pretty much floored by the Clubhouse in JFK, and heard that the London one is even more spectacular. However, since this is a paid ticket, it’d be my best shot at trying the Air Canada Signature Suite (the downside, however, being that if I choose the 787 from SFO to YYZ that the layover is a measly 1.5 hours).

Anyone have opinions between the two? There are several Virgin Atlantic LHR clubhouse reviews out there, but not many of Air Canada’s Signature Suite. The onboard product would also be a contest between the Air Canada 787-9 and 777-300, vs. the Virgin Atlantic A330/787-9, and a Delta 757-200 from JFK back to SFO.

Well, Ben calls the AC SS ”the best business class sit-down dining experience of any airline in the world.”

However, with a short layover, I’m not sure you’d enjoy the lounge properly. That being said, AC’s on board hard product is better than both VS and DL, and that’s why I’d go for AC, personally.
