    Sale-Leasebacks are not all that uncommon. AC is just selling the units back to a lessor who then turns around and leases the aircraft right back to them…AC retains possession of the aircraft. They are not by any means dumping the aircraft, just capitalizing on a low acquisition cost and taking debt/assets off their balance sheet.
