Aeroplan Business Class North Ameriaca to Europe

Aeroplan Business Class North Ameriaca to Europe

  1. Anonymous Guest

Is it possible to book book a flight using points on Aeroplan in business? I have searched 15+ itineraries with various cities ranging from 6 months to 9 months out and for all flights the transatlantic leg of the flight is in economy. I have even search flights with business saver award availability on United and these do not populate on Aeroplan either.

Is this a quirk in the system or am I missing something? Thanks!

Definitely possible, I just priced a trip a couple of weeks ago.

J Palmer – for a random date in June I’m seeing a few flights to LHR but that’s it. Some from Halifax, one from Toronto. But a very limited selection.

Thanks for the responses. Just find it weird that flights populate and full points are charged but on all options the transatlantic (what I want upgraded) is in economy.

I am booking trip for me and my wife later this year and want to transfer Amex points to Aeroplan and take advantage of the stopover options to visit Italy and Scandanavia. Schedule and itinerary is very open. I normally fly United but used those points on a trip earlier this year and this is my first time dealing with Aeroplan.

Will keep digging and maybe look at other airlines…

In fairness I was only looking for non-stops out of Canada (my mistake for making the assumption that’s where you were flying from!) so I didn’t check US routes. I know it’s a bit out of the way but have you checked flights from Houston too?

I have not but great idea, will look into it now.

Also, if you’re seeing saver space on United when you are logged out (since elites and credit card holders get access to additional space) you should be able to call in and get the seats through the call center.
