Advise on booked flight – BA Bronze member
Dear Lucky:
Hello!
I had coordinated three sets of flights, grandmother traveling from UK to US, then grandmother traveling back to UK with my teenage son and then my husband and I traveling to UK to pick up my son and bring him back to the US.
I have done this through BA, unfortunately, I have to change the one flight of two trips, any advice?
Thanks
A and M
A and M, that’s unfortunate. What is the question here though–how to do flight changes? You should be able to call in.
This article should help with the details for change fees: http://onemileatatime.boardingarea.com/2014/08/04/airline-award-ticket-change-fees/
Are you trying to change paid travel or award travel?
If paid travel, what class of service are you booked on? If you’re booked with economy, some tickets cannot be changed at all, others will require a change fee and the difference in fare. If you’re in prem econ, business or first, you could potentially change for a smaller fee, or no fee at all, plus the fare difference.
If you’re on an award ticket, the post @Gaurav links to above says BA charges $55 per change, as long as your new travel date has availability.
Good luck!
