AA took away my MCE seat
AA took away my DFW-HKG MCE seat and put me in regular coach without my knowledge or notification. I was moved from 18C to 22C…and of course, now that I see it, the only MCE left is middle seats. EXP desk said nothing they can do, they can’t give me my seat back or move others (even though they moved me). Can they do this? What are my choices to get compensation or get my original seat back? Beyond fed up with AA’s customer service.
Technically seat assignments are never guaranteed but that sounds like a bad operational decision. I would keep checking to see if a desirable MCE seat opens up. If not I would write and and ask for reasonable compensation.
