AA MPM Clarification for SIN-HKG-DEL

AA MPM Clarification for SIN-HKG-DEL

    Folks,

CX will gladly sell me a ticket from SIN to DEL via, well HKG. But the published MPM is 3100 and with AA’s 25% allowance, makes the maximum MPM 3875 which is just a tad shorter than the gcmap actual flying distance of 3918.

Anyone ever have any luck getting AA to squeeze in those extra 50 or so extra MPMs? Or for the matter has anyone booked SIN-HKG-India using AA miles?

@Ajay MQM usually refers to Delta Medallion Qualification miles. Are you simply referring to elite qualification miles for AA status? Where are you reading these published amounts?

My bad, I meant MPM. Corrected above, but i do not have the ability to correct the title.

    Fixed the title 😉

If you’ve found space, I’d go ahead and call and see if it prices. In my experience the MPM rule almost never comes up on a published routing with limited segments like that. Haven’t tried that exact routing, but would be curious to know if it prices, especially as there really aren’t many other viable routings between Asia 2 and India!

Thanks Tiffany! I called and was able to price it. The agent even offered me a flight on EY SIN-AUH-DEL and was able to price that as well 🙂
