AA Earning on BA flights
I’ve booked a short British Airways flight from London to Luxembourg for later this year. It’s an “O” class fare. I’ve put in my AA FF # to the reservation, and I understand I only get 1/4 credit for miles flown on this 360 mile flight. My question is ‘do 500 mile minimums apply to BA flights credited to AA too?” In other words, will i get 500 EQM’s for this flight?

Hi @clint h, and welcome!
For those that have elite status on AA, you earn the 500 mile minimum on AA codeshares and a dozen partner carriers, so you should be fine: https://www.aa.com/i18n/AAdvantage/eliteStatus/elite-benefits-chart.jsp#minimummileageguarantee
Curious to see how it works in practice though.
Thank you Tiffany! I will be sure to let you know. The flight isn’t until November.. so we’re likely to know more about the fallout from the changes to the program by then too.. I’ll let you know when I do.
