An offer arrived this afternoon from AA. Seems pretty steep but maybe I’m missing something. What do you think?

Do you fly American often? The unlimited complimentary upgrades would be nice on domestic flights, if you fly enough.

Otherwise, I’d rather save my $1,749 and actually use it to travel somewhere….

Even if you fly a lot, I’d really look at your flight times and upgrade patterns. I’ve heard plenty of (granted anecdotal) chatter about upgrades being hard to come by and you’ll still be behind EXPs. I wouldn’t rush into it.
