AA 767-300 equipment change

AA 767-300 equipment change

    Hi,

My family of 4 (2 young kids) are flying business class tomorrow 3/23 out of JFK to CDG on AA flight 44. When we booked the seats, the seat map showed this was an updated 763, with the 1-2-1 configuration.

Flightradar24.com now shows that our plane will be inbound from MXP to JFK before then flying to CDG. The problem is the website shows tail number N377AN, which according to Flyertalk is one of the unupdated 767s, without fully flat business seats or all aisle access, being 2-2-2.

How can we confirm if this information is correct or not? We’ve twice called AA and the first person had no idea what was going on and said we had to call BA (we booked flights through them on AA metal). The second call resulted in being told there was only 1 version of the 767, obviously false.

We really don’t want the old version and paid based on the new version. (1) how can we really know before actually walking onto the plane, which version we have? (2) if it’s the old version, how do you suggest we address this with AA (or BA)?

Thanks so much for your help!

Have you tried to do a dummy booking for the flight and see what seat map shows up?

It seems to be swapped to one of the domestic / Hawaii 767s. I confirmed on AA and Expert Flyer
