    Hi –

My partner and I are on the same flights but on different reservation numbers. I’m an AA Platinum, is it possible for me to call the phone agents and request for preferred seats for the both of us (exit row, etc.)?

    Thank you!

Mmm, maybe. I’ve had agents do it before, but I’m not positive what the actual rules are.

I’ve had agents do it a number of times, most recently back in May 2016.
