    How hard is it to book 2 Etihad apartments from JFK? Has anyone ever done it, and how far out did you have to look?

    Awesome, how was it? Did the U.S. preclearance affect the time you were able to spend in the lounge at AUH?

    I thought it was pretty good. Pre clearance moved pretty quickly for me. The friend I was traveling with was unlucky and got SSSS on his BP but even that didnt take too long. I think we’re told to “enter the US” about 2 hours before the flight. Probably because there are a bunch of US bound flights around 3am. The US pre clearance lounge is kinda crappy and i felt like i spent too much time there.

    We just booked Etihad apartments AUH-JFK for next May, and the flight leaves AUH 9:55am. Between getting up, checking out of the hotel, and that pre-clearance 2 hours prior, I’m not sure there will be much time to enjoy the spa and all that unless we get up at 4am. Oh well, I guess.
