10k EQM for EXP

10k EQM for EXP

    Ben –

I was hoping that you could help me out with something, as I wrap up my travel for 2016. I currently have about 90k EQM this year on AA and am figuring out one final trip to take me to EXP. I came across a BA fare with one leg on OpenSkies / the rest on AA and Iberia.

I was hoping you could answer:

    a) How many EQM would this earn?
    b) Is this eligible for the AARP discount?

Please let me know as soon as you can. Would also be curious if you have ay other good deals you’ve seen that can take me to 100k. Thanks in advance from a big fan!

@mat k, EQM earning depends on the airline and booking class. You can see earning rates at https://www.aa.com/i18n/aadvantage-program/miles/partners/partner-airlines.jsp.

Based on Ben’s post on AARP/BA, discounts should work

although there might be some exceptions:

The regular and premium mileage run forum on FT often has good listings, might offer some ideas.
