why did my mums card get down graded
Dear ben,
my mum has (had) a gold BA card but she was down graded this week. We always fly BA as we live in england but 1 time we went to antigua using virgin atlantic and so they down graded her. is this allowed.
thank you

Welcome @frieso – Status is based on how much you fly. Each flight on BA or its partners will earn tier points. If your mum didn’t earn 1500 tier points for her flying last year, she would have been downgraded based on how much she did fly.
You can learn more about tier points here: http://www.britishairways.com/en-us/executive-club/tiers-and-benefits/about-tier-points
