    Lucky,
    I just had a hellish re-reroute experience: YYZ-JFK-LHR-WAW all on AA/BA was rerouted to JFK-FCO-MUC (AZ) and MUC-WAW on LH. When I was picking up my boarding pass in MUC, imagine my surprise when the agent at the *G checkin told me that LH do not extend the *A extra baggage benefits (i.e. one additional piece of checked luggage), because UA does not extend it to LH *G passengers. Have you heard of this? Nothing is mentioned anywhere on the official websites.

    I refused to pay for a second bag and claim bag from the original carrier, as I doubt I would ever see any money. I was strong and they found a way to do it, but I found this odd.
