Swiss Status Miles

Hello,

Any suggestions please on the most efficient way to secure 13.000 Status miles on Swiss Air by Dec. 31st? I am based in Zurich.

Today is Nov. 24th. I have accumulated 87.000 Status Miles on Miles & More , which means only 13.000 needed by year-end to reach the 100.000 threshold for Swiss’ Senator Status.

I can always try to find time to fly to NYC in business class or some other long-distance destination… but I was wondering if there was any other way as it looks like for Swiss resident, it is NOT possible to purchase Status Miles with Award Miles. I also do not have Miles in other Fidelity Programs.

PS – Is there a quick way to see how many Status Miles can be obtained on a trip BEFORE flying?

Don’t have many ideas on actually earning the miles, but Swiss has an easy calculator you can use to see how many miles you’d earn:

With regards to earning “quickly” 13.000 Status Miles, hopefully someone else will have a suggestion. Best, Benjamin
