Reaching lifetime Plat with Marriott under SPG legacy requirements

Reaching lifetime Plat with Marriott under SPG legacy requirements

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hello,

I’m a bit lost with the whole Marriott/SPG merger and hope I could get some help here.
This is my current status with my accounts merged :
6 nights needed to renew Platinum Elite

Nights stayed : 44 (3 of them at Marriott)

Lifetime Status nights 538

Years as Platinum: 11 (9 as SPG and 2 as Marriott)
Under SPG legacy requirements, I need to reach plat again this year to become lifetime plat (it will be my 10th year).
If I get this right, if I go the new route, I “just” need 62 more nights to become lifetime plat.

My question is : For 2018, will Marriott nights count towards the 50 nights needed to reach Plat? Or only nights stayed at SPG properties?

If not, and since I assume there is no way to see the SPG count separately, do I just need to count those nights myself? Or would support be able to get that number?

    Thanks!
