Once again, another Flagship Question!

Once again, another Flagship Question!

Doing a mileage run to Colombia and thankfully get to spend a day and a half there before having to turn around and come home…

My itinerary is LAX>JFK>MIA>BOG My question is will I have flagship access at LAX? My flight leaves at 1130pm from LA and arrive next day at JFK at 8am and leaves to MIA then BOG at 11am…..I only have a 3 hour layover in JFK, not technically spending the night since I am doing a red eye so being an EX PLAT, will I get pushback for trying to enter LAX flagship???? (I know Ill have access at JFK) Thanks in advance!

Based on my recent experiences running to PTY, I think yes, because it’s a red-eye. So you effectively have a same-day connection to an international flight? I think that’s how it will work anyways.

I was assuming the same…but sure enough I got two different responses from the explat desk (I could probably call every day before I left and get diff responses). It is a red eye, on the same PNR, then a 3 hour layover at JFK before MIA then on to BOG that evening. Thanks for your input Tiffany I appreciate it!

@Levi — Yeah, my personal experience with these routes is that it’s honestly not worth trying to figure it out. Just hand ’em your boarding pass and see if it beeps for Flagship.

I’ve had access on all three returns (because my flight from Miami to New York landed after midnight, I think), and then on one of the outbounds they gave me access to the Flagship lounge in New York when I’m pretty sure I wasn’t supposed to have it (20 hour connection in New York before connecting to DCA and MIA before PTY).

So I’ve stopped trying to figure it out.

I am an EXP too, but luckily these problems will be solved for me once Aer Lingus new Aer Club status becomes a OW Emerald status
