Lounge Access denied
My partner and I recently traveled Palma de Mallorca-Barcelona-Lisbon, Lisbon-Palma.
We are both BA Gold card holders, all flights were operated by Vueling, but when booking we booked through Iberia, all flights had an IB prefix and the cost was twice as much as Vueling. I wanted Tier points and Avios, plus we had a 3 hour layover in BCN and wanted to use the lounge to work. Palma we were given access to the AENA lounge. Barcelona and Lisbon the staff were having none of it, saying had I been an Iberia Plus cats holder they would have let me in. I have tried to seek clarity in this from BA who said speak to IB awhile have said speak to Vueling !
