Earning Plat Premier or better with RC Rewards Card?

Earning Plat Premier or better with RC Rewards Card?

  1. Anonymous

    Lucky,

I have a Ritz Carlton Rewards card with earns Marriott Platinum status with $75K spend. I also have an AMEX SPG card which also earns 15 stay credits.

    Plat Elite = 50-74 nights
    Plat Premier Elite = 75-99
    Plat Premier Elite + = 100+ nights

Question: So can someone earn Platinum Premier Elite or better status by doing the following:

Spend $75K or better or either card (which earns Plat Elite so assume 50 nights base)

Get 15 stay credits

Stay another 10 nights at Marriott property or 25 nights if stay credits don’t count
Thanks

    Rick

Getting the status via credit card spend doesnt mean they add the nights to your account. You’d still need to stay 75 nights (or 60 nights if you have the 15 stay credits) to get Plat Premier Elite
