Best way to credit on Alaska

Best way to credit on Alaska

    Hi Lucky

I have a question on crediting miles on AS. As an AA flyer I often use google flights to book my tickets to Europe. It allows me to get an aa ticket even though most of the travel is on BA or IB. This is very important to me since I generally fly economy. It means I get 100 percent over 25 percent miles. In October with the AA revenue change, i’m thinking of moving to AS. As is a travel partner for both BA and AA. However on AA economy fares it awards 100 percent of miles flown, while only 25 percent of miles flown on BA. If I use the same trick, say I get an LAX-JFK-FCO, flight where the first leg is AA but the second and longer leg is BA, and get the ticket marketed AA. Can I get 100 percent of miles flown (plus bonuses !!) for both legs when crediting to Alaska.

    Thank You

    Best

It does specifically say that to credit to AA, you’d earn only if its marketed and operated by AA. Same goes for BA. There is also a list of flight numbers that are eligible – check those?
